Thanks to the molecular bonding characteristic, Rubio Monocoat Oil is not deeply soaked by the wood fibres, instead of that it compounds itself in the upper area of the surface but does not create any film or top layer.

Due to this characteristic, it is possible to protect 30-50 m2 per litre, in industrial applications up to 70 m2 per litre.

Compared to traditional hard wacks oil products NO maintenance (soaping) is required to keep the surface in good condition. This preserves the unique natural look and feel of the protected wood surface.

Durable protection by molecular bonding:
The unique formula creates a molecular bonding between the oil and the wood fibres. The result is a durable, long-lasting wood surface protection that keeps the natural touch of the wood.
One single Layer - Mono Coat:
Thanks to our technology, the consumption is much lower than for a traditional system. This results in durable colouring and protection in one single layer. Once the fibres are bonded with the oil, the wood doesn’t absorb any surplus product – which makes a second layer superfluous.
Unique colors:
The unique Rubio Monocoat oil pigment technology allows an intense and deep colouring in one single layer, without compromising the natural look and feel of the wood.
No overlap:
Once all free cellulose fibres are molecularly bonded, surplus product will no longer be accepted by the wood or the bonded Rubio Monocoat layer itself. This is why overlaps or starting marks are avoided.
Easy to maintain and repair:
Surfaces treated with Rubio Monocoat oil are easy to maintain, and isolated scratches or damaged areas are very easy to repair because no overlaps will be visible.
Natural ingredience VOC-free:
Rubio Monocoat oil doesn't contain any water or solvents and is based on natural ingredients. This means that the product is very safe to use but equally safe for your environment.
